About Clever Soap

Having a skin condition can be very damaging, not just to a person’s physical well-being but to their mental health as well. I know this for a fact, because I suffered from severe acne for several years and while the physical impact of acne is usually minimal, the psychological impact is certainly not. Having acne changed who I was then and who I am now, even though I haven’t suffered from acne for years.

I understand how difficult it can be to have a skin condition, even one that’s so common and doesn’t do any significant physical harm, because many people don’t understand just how challenging it can be and what help is really needed.

I started Clever Soap in 2019 as a way to help people achieve healthy-looking skin with a simple bar of soap. The range quickly developed, and we now offer different types of products that are suitable for a wide range of skin conditions such as acne, seborrheic dermatitis and many others.

What Makes Clever Soap Different?

Finding the right product from a brand you trust can be difficult. Browse online or in popular stores like Boots or SuperDrug and you'll find hundreds of skincare products, each with their own ways of branding how they're going to 'transform your skin' or 'revitalize you'.

We try to avoid a lot of this marketing fluff and keep things simple. Here's how:

All of our products are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, no exceptions.
All of our products make it clear what they are suitable for on the packaging, so you don't have to worry about using a product that isn't right for you.
All of our products are fragrance-free. Fragrances can be irritating for some, so we never add fragrances to our products.
No sulphates. Sulphates are often found in cheaper products and can be irritating for some, so we use natural alternatives instead.
We're also not owned by any big brands like L'Oreal or Estee Lauder, we're just a small company with a simple mission.
